Taurean Charles: I don't care how big you are, 6'7'' and 350 pounds, nobody talks about my sister.

Chuck Amato, NC State head coach: Taurean can have a tutor for each course, and use it as many hours as he needs to. Because he's an investment.
Assistant Coach: This is your time to make some money! It's where your scholarships are on the line right now! SHOW UP! There ain't no tomorrow!
Tim Lester: These coaches are basically paid to win football games, and you have 50 or so players on a team and they can't cater to each and every one of them. Some try their best but some just want to do nothing but win the state championship.
Steve Gallon III: I love Northwestern football. We are building a PROGRAM. Not a team. There's a difference.
Description
Year of the Bull is a stunning look into the life of one high-school football player determined to get out of the inner-city and into a Division I collegiate program. This documentary follows an entire season with the Miami Northwestern Bulls and Taurean Charles, an All-American, blue-chip prospect battling standardized tests, societal pressures, family conflict and internal struggles. In addition to the standout's problems, he is faced with trust issues because everyone surrounding him has an agenda. This riveting film begs the ultimate question...what matters most SAT scores or the final score of the game?
