[During the fall of Berlin]
Soviet soldier 1: On to the Reichstag!
Soviet soldier 2: Death to the fascists!
[Elder and Moody hotwire a German car while being shot at by Germans]
Sgt. Moody: Hurry up, Elder!
Pvt. Elder: Our Father who art in Heaven...
Sgt. Moody: God's busy! This one's on YOU!
[after crashing the car into a German occupied town]
Pvt. Elder: Remind me to thank the captain for that lovely drive...
Sgt. Moody: SHUT UP, Elder. Get your ass moving.
Alexei Ivanovich Voronin: Today, I crossed the Elbe river in Germany and shook hands with an American soldier. Although I could not understand anything he said, I felt this man was my brother. And I think he felt the same.

Sgt. Moody: [during a car chase] Turn right! Right over here!
Pvt. Elder: What do you think I *am* doing?
Sgt. Moody: Oh, you mean besides getting us killed?
Pvt. Elder: Well, hey, you never finished the job!
[During the fall of Berlin as the Soviets storm the Reichstag]
Soviet soldier 1: Come on, comrades! Up to the rooftop! Go!
[as a Soviet soldier runs to wave the victory flag]
Soviet soldier 2: Get that flag up! Berlin is ours!
American Soldier: Wake and shake boys, the Germans are bringing your coffee!
Soviet soldier 1: [as artillery shells start falling nearby] Whose artillery is that?
Soviet soldier 2: Ours. Not that it matters, they don't know we're here.
Soviet soldier 1: Would they stop if they did know?
Soviet soldier 2: Hard to say, comrade...
Pvt. Elder: I can't believe I agreed to do this.
Sgt. Moody: You didn't, remember? You volunteered.
Pvt. Elder: This is nuts, I can't believe I'm doin' this.
Sgt. Moody: Well, believe it, unless you sprout wings and wanna fly. It's only two miles, Private, just shut up and do your job
